COVID-19 (Coronavirus) Updates
In compliance with the guidelines set forth by the CDC and at the recommendation of the Governor's office, our church offices are CLOSED and our ministerial and administrative staff will continue working remotely. To contact a staff member, please click here for a staff directory.
Our Food Pantry will remain open during this closure to ALL Chesapeake & Moyock residents with a valid I.D. The Food pantry is open every Thursday morning from 9:30AM - 12:00PM. Click here for more information.
Beginning March 22, 2020 we will begin Drive-In Church at 8:00AM, 9:15AM, & 10:30AM. The service will be broadcast via an FM frequency and streamed online for any who are unable to join us.
We're excited to be able to continue with Drive-In Worship again this weekend. Our heart has always been to honor the Lord, our church family, and show respect to all elected officials.
Please note that we've done our due diligence to make sure we are in compliance with CDC and the Governor's Executive Order issued Monday. We spoke to a physician, politicians, an attorney, and even the police chief. Each of them affirmed what we wanted to do but each emphasized the ABSOLUTE importance of everyone remaining in their vehicles.
It was a blessing for us to receive additional clarification from the Governor's office regarding Executive Order 53. Here is the Q&A about attending religious services:
"What about religious services? Can I still go to my church, synagogue, or mosque?
Virginians are strongly encouraged to seek alternative means of attending religious services, such as virtually or via "drive-through" worship. Places of worship that do conduct in-person services must limit gatherings to 10 people, to comply with the statewide 10-person ban."

Thanks so much for your love, support, and encouragement during this time. We can't wait to meet with you face-to-face again in the near future!
